My Motivation
Dog WAGS was founded in the summer of 2011 by two friends, Ryan (myself) and Dan, long time friends who both have a passion for all animals, especially dogs. We grew up with dogs and were the ones in our families who always walked and was given the responsibility of taking good care of our pets. We were and still are around dogs all the time and love meeting people along with their pets when we are on our walks.
After 9 years, Dan is moving on to teach abroad and may possibly set up another business down the line. He will be missed, but we’re happy to see what his future holds…
Now, I, Ryan have started a new venture with Westside WAGS in July 2019. Still with the same inspiration and motivation as before, to enjoy being with dogs everyday! Surrounding myself with a great team is what it’s all about. Alex Howe and Bari Bridgewater are amazing with dogs and create a great atmosphere for all our clients in all environments.

Westside WAGS has a great respect for other companies in the industry, however, I strive to have the utmost quality control and hands on approach to all facets of the business. I am driven to have a successful business model, and that starts with being a honourable and trustworthy person. The main goal for myself and my team is to enjoy every minute with our dogs and make sure they are always safe and happy. I am a certified Pet First Aid attendant through Walks N’ Wags.
